Our Federation Fun Quiz Night this year will take place on

Monday 2nd November 2026 at the venues listed below.

The cost is £9 per member, which includes a light refreshments/supper.

AFTERNOON VENUES

Quiz start time 1.30pm prompt.

Barbon WI: Barbon Village Hall, LA6 2LL

Grasmere WI: Grasmere Village Hall, Broadgate, Grasmere, LA22 9TA

Witherslack WI: Witherslack Parish Hall, LA11 6SA

EVENING VENUES

Quiz start time 7pm prompt.

Egton-cum-Newland WI: Greenodd Village Hall, LA12 7QZ

Kendal Castle WI: Netherfield Cricket Club, Parkside Road,

Kendal, LA9 7BL

Soulby WI: Soulby Village Hall, CA17 4PL

Please complete the attached form, indicating clearly which venue your teams wish to attend, and send it, with your cheque made payable to CWFWI, to WI Office, Kendal House, Murley Moss Business Village, Oxenholme Road, Kendal, LA9 7RL by 16 October 2026 (no tickets will be issued).

To ensure an enjoyable event for all, every Quiz venue will be subject to a strict limit on numbers, to avoid overcrowding.

Please be sure to get your team applications in early as bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis. If the venue is full at time of application, we will approach your team to suggest a move to another venue - with this in view, please let us know your second choice of venue. We will, wherever possible, endeavour to ensure you get your first choice, but the process is time critical.

We ask all WIs to follow this guidance carefully. Please do not arrive at a venue without a confirmed booking or assume that space will be available at the last minute. Host WIs must finalise catering arrangements in advance, and venue capacities must be strictly observed for health and safety reasons.

We will acknowledge your booking.

Please note there is a maximum of 4 members per team – and don’t forget teams must have a name!! Let us have emergency contact details for team members on the form.
