Here you will find details of courses and events CWFWI are organising during the coming year.

Most of the listings below are links to the advertised events. Click on the links to find further details about each event and the booking form. For most events it is possible to book online. You will also find booking forms that you can download. You can usually book for yourself as an individual or you can book for yourself and others.

OCTOBER

Wednesday 7th October: The Wainwrights in Winter. Join us for this exciting and interesting afternoon at Selside Memorial Hall with Nicky Oliver, Floki and David Johnson in conversation with Sally Smith from Grasmere WI. £10 including lunch and coffees.

Tuesday 27th October: Turn Old Books to New, Tuesday 27th October, 10am-3pm, £20 per person lunch and coffee included. WI office, Murley Moss, Kendal, LA9 7RL

NOVEMBER

Monday 2nd November Fabulous, Funtastic Federation Quiz - various venues, click this link for details

Thursday 26th November: Christmas Canapes with Emma, Greenodd Village Hall, Ulverston LA12 7RD Come and enjoy this festive demonstration about to make mouthwatering festive canapes- add some sparkle to your festive tables. £10 per person

DECEMBER

Friday 4th December 1.30pm Federation Carols and Festive Treats. Our annual gathering this will be at St Michael's & All Angels Church, Beetham, Milnthorpe, LA7 7AL. More details will follow soon.

2027 Events

JANUARY

Tuesday 26th January 'Spot It, Sort It, Solve It!' H&S event at the WI Office for every WI, more details soon.

Thursday 3rd June: (Travel Wednesday 2nd June) NFWI Annual Council Meeting: Join our trip to the Annual Council Meeting at the Connexin Live Arena in Hull. We’ll be staying at the Forest Pines Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort. £173 per person including Annual Meeting ticket, twin room provision and travel. More details here.
