Tuesday 27th October, 10am—3pm
£20 per person lunch and coffee included
What to do with those old, sorry looking but much moved cookery books on your shelves? Come along to a book cover sewing day in the Federation Training Room, at the WI Office on Tuesday October 27th from 10am to 3pm and update your ‘old friends’ with new cloth covers. Or you might like to make a cover for a new notebook. We will be expertly guided by Anne Pattison.
The maximum book size we’ll make a cover for is A5.
You will need to bring a sewing machine and the thread that suits your machine and your books that you’d like to cover (they must have a firm spine). Fabric and binding will be provided but if you have fabrics you’d like to use (such as old tray cloths etc) then please bring them along. Cost is £20 per person including lunch and coffee through the day.
One sewing machine will be available on the day at the office but ideally you should fetch your own along please.
Please book early as places are limited but please book by Friday 9th October at the latest.
