Because of increasing difficulty in finding Independent Financial Examiners ( IFEs) to examine WI accounts and sign off on Financial Statements, we are planning to offer training to experienced WI Treasurers, who would be willing to take on the role for other WIs.
We are planning to run a first course on Thursday 26th February 2026, in the WI Office. If you are interested in applying, we believe that you will need to have at least three years’ experience as a WI Treasurer, or two years if you have experience as a Treasurer with another organisation. Of course, if you already have a financial background in accountancy do, please apply.
